Introducing the Kodair Wind range of small wind turbines, our current offerings are the KW20 and the KW30, these turbines are
built on the same platform and consist of the following features:
KW20 KEY FEATURES
- - Variable Pitch System – The blade angle is adjusted automatically to work efficiently at all wind speeds.
- - Motorised Yaw System – Automatic alignment with the wind direction.
- - Extra Fail Safe System – This will move the blades to park the turbine in the event of a pitch system failure. (Patent Pending)
- - Automatic Lubrication System – Extends service periods to 3 years.
- - Ladder Access System – Enables many maintenance and service operations to be completed without lowering the turbine to the ground.
- - Tower Tilt System – To allow easy removal or installation of the turbine to the tower.
- - Slip Ring System – This means the tower cables will never get twisted.
- - Direct Drive Permanent Magnet Generator – No Gearbox to wear out or create noise.
- - Web Based remote monitoring system.
- - Independently Verified Power Curve – Easily predict annual production.
- - Certified Turbine – Peace of mind (currently undergoing SWCC and IEC certifications.)
- - 13.1m Rotor Size – Reach full power 21kW at approx. 11.5m/s wind speed.
